Dr. Dennis Myers Joins Sovrinti Advisory Board
Sovrinti is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Dennis Myers to their advisory board. Dr. Myers, the Danny and Lenn Prince Endowed Professor for the Residential Care of Older Adults at Baylor University, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.
Previously, Dr. Myers served on the Sovrin IoT advisory board for the 2020-2023 NIA validation study, and he will now support Sovrinti as they transition from research to commercialization. A licensed Clinical Social Worker and a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA), Dr. Myers is deeply involved in advancing gerontological care. He chairs the School of Social Work Gerontology Initiative and leads the Danny and Lenn Prince Initiative for Quality Long-term Care with Older Adults. This initiative focuses on enhancing care in residential facilities through research, evidence-based practice models, educational programs, and practical resources.
Dr. Myers co-authored the recent GSA summary of the NIA Study results and is collaborating with Sovrinti on analyzing and publishing findings on caregiver attitudes towards technology in senior care. His continued insights into end-user needs and caregiving will help Sovrinti improve the quality of care while reducing costs. Sovrinti welcomes Dr. Myers’ invaluable contributions to their mission.
